Go Flames Go

Oh, the pain. Man, that was gut-wrenching. Apparently an entire country willing a puck into the net is not enough. But we know the flames are a Stanley Cup-calibre team. We all saw that goal in Game 6, and while it's part of the game, and I'm not suggesting we were robbed, we know our team was good enough. We just didn't have enough last night.

I hope no one is Lightning bashing today. We were beaten fairly by a great team. Andreychuk deserved to hoist that trophy. I can't wait to see some of those boys play for us in the World Cup. To Calgary: I hope everyone partied and was positive last night. There better be a big contingent to welcome the team back to the city. And let's hope Sutter wins the coaching award.

To Tampa Bay: Every citizen in your damn city better get out and touch that cup, and appreciate how much it should mean to a city. Otherwise we'll come down and kick your sun-tanned asses.
