Boss: Any luck on booking that room for Wednesday?

Me: Wednesday. What room?

Boss: On the Hill.

Me: (Panicking, desparately searching brain for how he could have possibly forgotten a meeting on wednesday that necessitated the use of a room on Parliament Hill. No luck) Umm, what room?

Boss: For the reception

Me: (Now realizing that by "Wednesday" Boss is referring to a reception to take place more than 2 months from today {and no recolection of it being scheduled for a wednesday} that was first mentioned a couple days ago) Umm, no, not booked yet.
